What it is
Dr. B.R. Ambedkar wrote Annihilation of Caste in 1936 as a speech he was never allowed to deliver. He published it himself. It remains one of the sharpest, most direct critiques of the caste system ever written — not as abstract philosophy, but as a practical argument for why the system must end and what replacing it actually requires.
Why it matters here
nospace exists because access to knowledge, mentorship, and opportunity is still unevenly distributed along the lines Ambedkar wrote about nearly ninety years ago. Reading this book isn’t a requirement to use this site — but it explains the “why” behind it better than any about page can.
How to read it
It’s short, direct, and doesn’t require background reading. The Navayana edition with B.R. Ambedkar’s original text and an introduction by Arundhati Roy (“The Doctor and the Saint”) is widely available and a good starting edition. Many free PDF versions also exist online.
